Account deletion

You can request the permanent deletion of your account at any time. Below we explain how, what information is deleted, and what is retained.

Request deletion

Send us your request

The fastest way is to email us from the address tied to your account with the subject "Account deletion request". We process requests within a reasonable time under applicable law.

From the mobile app

  1. Open Signaler on your phone (iOS or Android) and sign in.
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner and open the My team screen.
  3. On your profile card, scroll down and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm the action. The app will open your mail composer with a request ready to send to support@signaler.app.
  5. Send the email from the address tied to Signaler.

What gets deleted

When the process is complete we permanently delete from our systems:

  • Your profile (name, email, phone, language).
  • Your session, credentials, and push notification token (revoked immediately when the process starts).
  • Your acknowledgment records and participation in alerts created by other members of your organization.
  • Messages you wrote in incident threads.
  • Your membership in the organization and its departments (assignments, role, permissions).

What is retained and why

  • Alerts you created for your organization. They stay visible to your teammates, but your name is replaced with "Deleted user". This preserves the team's operational history without tying it to your identity.
  • Aggregated, anonymous metrics (for example, acknowledgment rates per department). They contain no personally identifiable information and are used only to understand how the product performs.
  • Security logs and encrypted backups for the retention period required by applicable law or by our contractual obligations. These records are automatically deleted when they expire.

Are you an admin of your organization?

If you are the only admin of your organization in Signaler, before deleting your account you must promote another member to admin, or request the complete deletion of the organization by emailing support@signaler.app. We'll guide you through the process.
